When a source provides duplicate indicators at different frequencies, Data Buffet policy is to preferentially republish the highest available frequency (because Data Buffet has tools to change frequency). We will also republish lower frequencies if they provide longer history.
We have archived the annual series by marking their metadata as "discontinued" and by segregating in the catalog. For both subsets, figures are rubles per square meter (RUB per m²), not seasonally adjusted (NSA). The annual series run from 2000 to 2015, whereas the quarterly series start at January 2000. Geo coverage is the nation, nine okrug, and 83 oblast.
The series reside in the historical catalog (Russia » Real Estate » Residential » Price » Apartment) and include, for example:
- HPLNAPTUA.IRUS = [DISCONTINUED] Average price of apartment - Primary market, (RUB per m², NSA) - for Russian Federation
- HPLXAPTUA.IRUS_SOUH = [DISCONTINUED] Secondary market, (RUB per m², NSA) - for Southern District region
- HPLXAPTUA.IRUS_BEL = [DISCONTINUED] Secondary market, (RUB per m², NSA) - for Belgorodskaya oblast
To retrieve the quarterly substitutes, change the frequency specifier (the last character in the concept code) from A to Q. They include:
- HPLNAPTUQ.IRUS = Primary market, (RUB per m², NSA) - for Russian Federation
- HPLXAPTUQ.IRUS_MOW = Primary market, (RUB per m², NSA) - for Moscow region
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
