Motivation: Our national source, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses of the Argentine Republic (INDEC), has recently changed its reporting of price measures from indexes to month-over-month percent changes, with a truncated start date of May 2016.
Response: For analytical convenience and international consistency, for these measures we have computed index numbers with extended history.
Properties: The start dates vary. Expect our SA series to be revised with each update. Supplemental series of this kind are marked in their source metadata as, in part, "Moody's Analytics Estimated."
