Global businesses feel reasonably good about how things are going. Sentiment is similar across the globe and consistent with economies growing near their potential. The weakest survey responses are to the broad questions regarding current and future business conditions. Sales and hiring are a bit soft, but investment is strong. The Iran war does not appear to be significantly affecting businesses, although one fallout of the war is higher inflation. Consistent with this, more businesses say they are raising prices for their goods and services, while fewer are reining them in.
