Release Information
The Foreign Trade Indicators are Imports, Exports and Net Trade. Those three new series are expressed by million of dollars and they starts as early as January, 1993. Data are compiled from the Website of the Lebanese Central Bank in which they gt it from the Lebanese Customs Bureau.
Imports includes goods put into local consumption upon their arrival from abroad; goods put under a regular temporary admission regime; re-imported goods from abroad following a temporary export for the purpose of manufacturing or transformation abroad and goods put into a warehousing regime upon their arrival from abroad.
Exports includes all exported national goods; goods of foreign origin exported after being put into local consumption; temporarily goods for the object of manufacturing or transformation abroad; re-exported goods abroad after being put under a regular temporary admission regime; re-exported goods abroad form customs sheds or warehouses and re-exported goods abroad with customs duties re-imbursement (Drawback).
