Release Information
Data present the course of dwelling construction, started, partly built and completed dwellings by owner sectors. There are separately published dwellings in family houses from total data, years 1996 and 1997 excepted when these data were not surveyed.
Started dwellings express the administratively permitted beginning of dwellings constructed. Completed dwellings are those that were passed as acceptable by an approving officer after construction completion. It refers to completed dwelling in constructions intended for living, i.e. in housing buildings, in family houses, and in polyfunctional buildings. There are also dwellings in buildings non-intended for living, for example in administrative buildings, banks, post offices, stations. Completed dwellings include dwellings acquired by new construction, reconstruction, or other construction repairs.Partially built dwellings detail the construction process from passing the building permission to the date of passing the approval decision.
Data on the course of construction of dwellings are surveyed from quarterly processing of statistical reports for municipalities, or building offices.
Data is reported from 1996 to the current reference period. All data is subject to revisions.
