  1. The general index is weighted average of the basic indexes for apartments (AP), family houses (RD), multi-dwelling buidlings (DO), lots (SP) and garages (GA). SP and GA were included in 2009 but not in 2011.
  2. A family house can have at most three apartments, two levels, one basement and one attic.
  3. If the house has more, then it is multi-dwelling building.
  4. House prices broken down by municipal size class include all of Czech Republic outside of the capital city of Prague and the East and West districts of Prague. In Moody's Analytics concept codes, the classes are denoted:
    • Z1 = Under 2,000 inhabitants
    • Z2 = 2,000 to 49,999 inhabitants
    • Z3 = 10,000 to 49,999 inhabitants
    • Z4 = 50,000 inhabitants or more
