Release Information
The stock market of Luxembourg, the LUXX, is comprised of fully taxable corporations that fall under the applicable Rau law of December, 22 1993. To be able to participate in the index a corporation must be quoted for at least a month and represent a minimal weight of 1% in the index. The stock market index--index levels in points--represents the average for the month.
The weight of a share in the LUXX is calculated as the product of prices in Euros of the share and the number of related shares.
The index was rebalanced on 04/01/1999 to base 1,000.
