For Singapore, the detailed Index of Industrial Production (IIP) monitors the performance of the manufacturing sectors. The dataset includes six major industry groups (clusters): electronic, chemicals, biomedical manufacturing, precision engineering, transport engineering and general manufacturing. Published by the Singapore Department of Statistics (SingStat).

The industry classification is the Singapore Standard Industrial Classification, SSIC2015.

The scope of the IIP encompasses all industry divisions at SSIC 2-digit level under section C of SSIC. The Census of Manufacturing Activities 2025 was the main source of information for the rebase to 2025=100.
