The industry classification is the Singapore Standard Industrial Classification, SSIC2015.
The scope of the IIP encompasses all industry divisions at SSIC 2-digit level under section C of SSIC. The Census of Manufacturing Activities 2025 was the main source of information for the rebase to 2025=100.
For the NSA general index, we back-extend (1983m1 to 2009m12) using the predecessor. For the SA general index, we back-extend (1983m1 to 2009m12) using our adjustment of the NSA index.
