Detailed balance of payments per IMF standards, in convertible marks (BAM), from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Under BPM5, 1998-2011 and 2001Q1-2012Q1; under BPM6, from 2007Q1.

Balance of Payments are part of the External Sector.

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina prepares this report per the IMF Balance of Payments manual.  In December 2012, CBBH migrated from BPM5 to BPM6, and was one of the first countries to do so (after Australia and Brazil, and before the EU, which plans to start in 2014).

Yes. Annual figures may be revised each quarter for the most recent three periods, or deeper. Quarterly figures are reported for the most recent 15 periods, and are revised for the past three years.

The source wrote: "Data were revised for period 2009-2010 and disseminated together with data for 2011. The main revisions done for the period 2009-2011 are result of conducted surveys and application of the latest international standards by the CBBH statistics compilers."

For 2015Q3, periods back to 2012Q1 were revised for all 49 series.

For 2017Q2, the source wrote: Data for the period 2007-2015 are revised due to changes of source data. Revision of Monetary statistics as of 2006; Results of CBBH surveys (ITRS, transportation services); Personal travel related to Education new estimation model introduced as of 2012 (research foreign students staying in BH); New BIS data."

We assessed: All 50 series have been revised back to 2007Q1; most changes apply after 2012. The current account balance is virtually unchanged, although individual components are revised, particularly financial services-credit (BPLSVFCUQ.IBIH, which has a small magnitude, by 1000%) and services-debit (BPLSVFDUQ.IBIH by 140%). The capital account and financial account balances (BPLKABUQ.IBIH and BPLFABUQ.IBIH) were revised by 11% and 167%, respectively.
