Release Information

This dataset covers the production and expenditure approach to national accounts for Poland.  It contains information about the definitions of basic macroeconomic categories, classifications used and the estimation methods of quarterly national accounts. Active series were calculated according to the European System of National Accounts Rev. 2010 (ESA 2010). Industries are classified according to PKD 2007, which is the Polish localization of NACE Rev.2. Discontinued series were calculated according to ESA 95, and industries for discontinued series were classified according to PKD 2007 and NACE Rev 1.1. Active series being as early as 2002Q1, and discontinued series begin as early as 1995Q1.

Figures are million zloty (Mil. PLN), chained 2010 zloty indexed to the previous quarter (Ch. 2010 PLN Vol. Index prv. per.=100), chained 2010 zloty indexed to the corresponding period of the previous year (Ch. PLN Vol. Index corr. per. prv. yr.=100), and millions of chained 2010 zloty (Mil. Ch. 2010 PLN). Not seasonally adjusted (NSA), seasonally adjusted (SA), and trend adjusted (trend) data are available.

The data are provisional when first released. The data are revised when final version of annual GDP data are estimated.
