The observation is being carried out for selected organisations involved in the real estate business in territorial centers and big cities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. When registering prices for dwellings their quantity and quality characteristics and location in the city are taken into account. Average prices for the Russian Federation are computed on the basis of average prices for territories. Data on the number of flats commissioned in the previous year and the resident population at the beginning of the reference year are used as weight factors.
