For Belgium, monthly price indexes for output prices in industry excluding construction (i.e., NACE Rev. 2 sections C, D and E), broken out by economic activity and by utilization (i.e., main industial grouping, MIG). Also known as the producer price index (PPI).
The output price index in industry is reported for five markets (total, domestic, non-domestic, euro zone, non-euro zone), but Data Buffet carries only the "total market" slice. The dataset previously included a raw materials price index (RMPI), which was terminated in 2015.

The source writes:
The producer price indices are short-term indicators that show monthly price changes in the economical activities sector. They can be an indicator of inflationary pressure in economy but also allow measuring the evolution of prices over longer periods.
Data are collected and published by Statistics Belgium. Results available one month after the reference period.
Statistics produced pursuant to a European legal obligation: Council Regulation (EC) No 1165/98 of 19 May 1998 concerning short-term statistics ; Regulation (EC) No 1158/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 July 2005 amending Council Regulation (EC) No 1165/98 concerning short-term statistics
For the PPI general index, we back-extend (1957m1 to 2009m12) using a predecessor and the IMF IFS release. We construct a seasonally adjusted counterpart using the U.S. Census Bureau's X-13ARIMA-SEATS program.
