Release Information

The National Institute of Statistics (INE) of Chile reports a monthly producer price index (PPI) and components from 2014. Moody's Analytics has extended the history of the general index and produced a seasonally adjusted counterpart.

Classification: CIIU Rev. 4, the localization of UN ISIC Rev. 4. The economic activities are:

  • Agriculture, livestock, hunting, and forestry
  • Mining
  • Manufacturing
  • Electricity, gas, and water

Data for the manufacturing industry is obtained from the Annual Industrial National Survey (ENIA) 2008. The gross production value includes sales of all outputs of each establishment and incorporates the changes in the value of inventories of finished products at the end of each period.
