Release Information

Description

The Construction of Apartments release includes quarterly data obtained from the Swiss National Bank.  Available series include new apartments authorized, apartments under construction, and apartments completed.  The data are not seasonally adjusted and expressed in number of apartments.

Methodology

Quarterly apartment construction survey is conducted in all municipalities. It includes data regarding number of new apartments completed and authorized during the quarter and number of apartments authorized at the end of the quarter. Data are not seasonally adjusted.
