Sales of residential real estate in Belgium: transactions and prices, by type of structure. Quarterly from 1973.
Measurements are euros or square meters.
The statistics of the real prices are based on all real transactions on which fees registration had to be paid. The data come from the Land register of the SPF Finances.
House prices are broken into 10-, 90-, 25-, 50- and 75-percentiles. All house prices are first classified from lowest to highest. The 25% percentile is the price at which 25% of properties are the same or less expensive and 75% of properties are as expensive or more expensive. The same logic applies to the other percentiles
Ownership and structure types
