Release Information

For Argentina, a national consumer price index detailed by COICOP. Monthly from 2016. Predecessors exist back to 1977; Moody's Analytics has extended select series to 1943.

National Urban - The National Statistical System (NSS) Consumer Price Index addresses aspects related to the geographical representation of the indicator. The indicator covers the entire urban population of the 24 jurisdictions that comprise Argentina.

Alternative CPI - The IPC of the Provincial Bureau of Statistics Census and the province of San Luis and the IPC of the Directorate General of Statistics and Census Buenos Aires are collected independently from the INDEC with sound methodologies.
