This data shows the interest ratest that Austrian Monetary Financial Institutions (MFI) apply in relation to their customers for deposits and loans. The table is broken down into maturities and customer groups.
A stratified sample is used to gather the data. The interest rates correspond to the capital-weighted average interest Reporting agents provide data to the Austrian Nationalbank.
The data on interest rates is checked on a monthly basis. When a mistake occurs the reporting agents have to send revisiosn to the Austrian Nationalbank for data up to 13 months in the past. The Austrian aggregates are then recalculated.
