The nominal turnover indices are measured per reference month and breakdown the corresponding total revenue as a percentage of the respective average Total revenue in base year 2015.
The price adjustment of nominal turnover indices takes place with the figures of the commodity groups (ÖCPA) of the wholesale price index or the COICOP Consumer price index groups, which correspond to the individual breakdown areas.
For retail trade (division 47), headline value and volume indexes, we back-extend and construct seasonally adjusted counterparts.
