For Argentina, the Encuesta Permanente de Hogares (EPH) (Permanent Household Survey) collects specific demographic data from households in urban areas such as: age, gender, marriage status, employment, education, and income level and is permanent. The survey is multi-purpose in that it includes the computation of (EAP) Economically Active Population which is all of the individuals who work to create goods/services.
Population by age:
Labor force status:
Employment by industry:
Geo coverage:
EAP includes the summation of people 10 or older in age with individuals part of the workforce who are currently unemployed. Also includes people who have worked a minimum of one hour and have received pay. Includs people who currently have the "employed" status but have not been working for that specific reference time frame ex: leave of absence because of disease-related issues, suspended employee without pay, and any weather-related catastrophes.
For "employment, urban areas, all industries" we back-extend by 20 years, and construct an SA supplement.
