Permits data is available for the nation and all NUTS 1, 2, and 3 geographies according to the NUTS 2013 classification. Discontinued series are available according to NUTS 2002. Figures are number of buildings or dwellings (#), not seasonally adjusted (NSA) and seasonally adjusted (SA).
The number of licensed buildings dataset is broken down by project purpose (family housing, other, and total) and type of project (total construction and demolition works, new constructions and other).
The number of licensed dwellings is broken down by dwelling typology, which is defined by the number of bedrooms.
The dwellings and buildings permits datasets are collected by Statistics Portugal trough the projects of building constructions and demolitions survey.
For more information about the licensed buildings dataset, see the source. For more information on the licensed dwellings dataset, see the source.
